Access

By Car
From Nagoya: Take the Meishin Expressway and exit to the Tokai-Hokiruku Expressway at the Ichinomiya Junction.Exit at the Mino highway exit and turn north onto National Highway 156 (Takes about 1 hour).

From Gifu: Travel north on National Highway 156 (Takes about 1 hour).


By Train
From Nagoya: Take the JR Tokaido Line to Gifu and change to the JR Takayama Line, getting off at Mino-Ota Station. Change to the Nagaragawa Tetsuodo Train, and get off at Umeyama Station and walk about 15 minutes to the Academy. (Takes around 1 hour & 45 minutes)

From Gifu: Take the JR Takayama Line to Mino-Ota and change to the Nagaragawa-Tetsudo Train Line. Disembark at Umeyama Station and walk around 15 minutes to the Academy. (Takes around 1 hour & 20 minutes).


By Bus
From Nagoya: Takes around 11/2 hours from by Gifu Highway Bus from the Meitetsu Bus Center.

From Gifu: Takes around 1 hour & 10 minutes by Gifu Bus from Shin-Gifu Station.

Mino is located in Gifu Prefecture, in central Japan. Mino is famous for its traditional Washi paper making industry and 'Udatsu' architectural features.
